Corners Betting Explained

Published 8 Jun 2026

Corner markets reward teams that attack down the flanks and dominate possession. Here is how to bet them.

Corners betting is usually an Over/Under market on the total corners in a match — most often a 9.5 or 10.5 line.

What drives corners

Corner counts rise with attacking intent, wing play, crossing, and shots that get blocked or saved. A team that dominates possession and attacks down the flanks racks up corners; a deep, counter-attacking side concedes fewer.

How to bet them

  • Favour Overs when an attack-heavy favourite meets a side that defends deep (lots of pressure → lots of corners).
  • Favour Unders in cagey, midfield-bound fixtures between evenly matched, conservative teams.

Check each team's corners-for and corners-against per game in our corners table, and weigh home advantage — teams typically win more corners at home.
