Celtic Begin Title Defence Against Dundee

The Hoops begin their campaign to retain the Scottish Premiership crown as they face Dundee in what marks the opening salvo of their defence. Whether Celtic can build on last season's success remains to be seen, but the fixture list has them starting away from home in this encounter.

Celtic's pre-season preparations will be crucial as they look to hit the ground running in their pursuit of another league title. The fixture offers early indication of their sharpness heading into what is always a demanding domestic campaign.

Dundee will hope to prove competitive from the outset, though historically Celtic have dominated the contest between the sides.
