Just a Friendly: Semenyo, Marmoush Link Up for City

Sky Sports was all over it: Semenyo and Marmoush. They looked sharp. A proper pairing, bagging two goals and giving City a decent cushion in that pre-season run-out. Look, it was 9 August 2026. A friendly. Both sides needed to shake off the rust, get minutes in the legs before the real stuff starts. But two forwards clicking like that? It screams City. They're always poking around, testing new combinations, seeing who’s got the goods for squad depth. Who works with whom. That's the real game being played out here, even if the score means nothing. Don't expect a play-by-play, though; those details are sparse, as usual.
