Man Utd Eye Arsenal Defender Lewis-Skelly as Transfer Window Heats Up

According to The Independent on Sunday, United are investigating whether a deal for the Arsenal youngster can be arranged, whilst simultaneously pursuing Lewis Hall from Newcastle United.

The Old Trafford club appears to be casting a wide net in the defensive market as they strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. Lewis-Skelly, an academy graduate at Arsenal, has emerged as an option under review at United, though no formal approach is understood to have been tabled at this stage.

The Red Devils' dual pursuit reflects their ambition to bolster their backline during the transfer window. While Hall represents an alternative target from the Premier League, the club's interest in Lewis-Skelly suggests they are also monitoring Arsenal's academy talent.

This comes amid a busy window across the top flight, with Arsenal themselves actively pursuing reinforcements and several other clubs making headline moves. United's willingness to explore options at a rival club underlines their determination to strengthen before the campaign begins.
