Man Utd transfer latest: Tchouameni set for Real Madrid contract extension

According to Sky Sports, midfielder Tchouameni is expected to pen a new deal at the Bernabéu, signalling his long-term future lies in Spain rather than elsewhere in Europe's top leagues.

The news comes as Amorim, United's manager, offered a public apology—though the specific context and details remain limited at present. Sky Sports reported on the development on 8 July 2026.

No further specifics regarding contract length, terms or the timing of an official announcement have been disclosed. Tchouameni's fresh agreement would underscore Real Madrid's intent to retain their midfield talent amid the summer transfer window.
