Nygren's Header Puts Celtic Top as Title Defence Begins

Celtic made a winning start to their title defence campaign on Monday evening, according to Sky Sports. A header from Nygren proved the difference in the fixture, securing the Premiership side all three points on the opening weekend of the new season.

The goal marked a positive beginning for Brendan Rodgers' side as they look to maintain their grip on the Scottish top flight. Nygren's accuracy in the air proved crucial in what proved a competitive encounter.

The fixture represented Celtic's first test of the campaign, and they passed it with the expected efficiency of defending champions. Rodgers will be pleased with the start, though the manager will be keen to build on this foundation as the season takes shape.
